Vinesh journey was riddled with injuries before she suffered a career-threatening ACL tear at the 2016 Rio Olympics raising questions about her future in the sport. However, she came back stronger and went on to win gold at 2018 Commonwealth Games followed by winning another Gold medal in 48 kg division of Asian Games.
